Robert Kienitz, DAOM, DTCM, is a graduate of the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine program (DTCM), the Luo School of TCM Traumatology, the Vancouver College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of British Columbia and the Institute of Chinese Herbal Medicine’s Advanced Herbal Training program.
Dr. Robert’s core training at the Florida Institute of TCM was a three thousand hour program with over eight hundred hours of clinical internship. The program included all aspects of TCM including extensive training in diagnostics, acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Dr. Robert has been National (NCCAOM) and State (AZ, FL, NC, RI) Board Certified for over twenty-five years and is a former Director of the American Association of Oriental Medicine, the North Carolina Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is certified by the National Sports Acupuncture Association.
Dr. Robert is former Professor and Dean of Curriculum of the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Clinic Director at the Stone Pointe Institute in Mesa, AZ and Island Wellness Clinics in Wilmington and Carolina Beach, NC.
Cindy Kienitz has trained for forty years in Chinese Internal Arts including Shaolin Kung Fu, Qigong, Chinese Yoga, and Tai Chi Ch’uan for forty years. She has trained directly with Master Hua Ching Ni, Dr. Maoshing Ni and Master Kany Chin. Cindy was taught Reconnective Healing and the Reconnection by founder Dr. Eric Pearl
For seven years, Cindy was Director of the Center for Taoist Arts, which she co-founded, in Atlanta, GA. The Center was one of the largest schools of its type on the East Coast and was chosen the best T’ai Chi School in the Atlanta area.
Cindy was also the head instructor of the Qigong/Yoga and Senior Tai Chi Program at the Sandestin Resort Health Club in Destin, FL for five years.
Cindy has presented numerous seminars in the Southeast on Chinese internal arts, stress reduction and wellness, natural cooking and women’s health.
Cindy also collaborated with the Island-Time Institute in Carolina Beach, NC researching the use of Chinese exercise, mindfulness therapies and dietary therapy for wellness and weight management.
Equilibrium is a dynamic state of harmony and balance. In the fast paced, high stress environment of North America in the twenty first century, there are far too many factors that cause Imbalance. Imbalance is any mind/body disharmony that eventually leads to disease.
